“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” – Aaron Siskind

About Me

Hi, I'm Amanda. I dig moody vibes, organic pops of color, and using nature as my backdrop. Stiff, studio poses aren't my jam, so I hope they're not yours, either! Shooting outdoors is where my true passion lies, and my #1 goal is to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

I believe that love is love, black lives matter, and everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.

In my free time, I enjoy running, baking, brushing up on my Mandarin, and exploring California with my husband.

“A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.” — Annie Leibovitz

“The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.” — Andy Warhol

Testimonials

Kailee // Seattle, WA

“Amanda is not only an amazing person, but an excellent photographer as well. She is the first person I considered to have take my college graduation photos, and she did not disappoint. To say I loved my pictures is an understatement. My family and friends loved them as well, and I was constantly asked who my photographer was. I’m so thankful to her for capturing these moments. I know I will look back on them to remember this significant time during my life.”

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” — Elliott Erwitt

My husband and I are expecting our first child in September which means I will be on maternity leave starting August 15th - the end of the year. Currently, my calendar is completely booked, so sadly I will not be taking any new clients until next year. If you are inquiring about an event, wedding, or photoshoot taking place in 2022, please get in touch! I still have lots of dates available. Thank you so much for your interest in working with me and I hope our paths will cross again next year! xo
