I'm a Wisconsinite living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. My love for photography blossomed in high school; it was there that I discovered how powerful art can be. I was quiet, listened to a lot of Bright Eyes, and found solace in creating images using only my imagination and a camera.
Nearly 15 years later, not much has changed (except my playlist, I suppose!). It’s rare you’ll find me without a camera in hand. There’s nothing I love more than capturing special moments you can cherish forever.
In my free time, I enjoy barre, baking, exploring the world with my husband, spoiling our fur babies Mia (the cat) and Maya (the chinchilla), and updating my travel and lifestyle blog, Little Tranquility.
So hard to choose! Some of my favorites are Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under, Gilmore Girls, Black Mirror, Dexter, Queer Eye, The Office, and Arrested Development.
Antarctica. I really hope to visit someday! I would love to photograph the penguins, whales, icebergs, and seals! It's so remote and beautiful. I have a wild fascination for unique islands and far away destinations.

"Amanda was exactly what I was looking for in a photographer. She was friendly, responsive and had an eye for a great background. She made my 10 month old smile a bunch even though he was a little crabby. I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone!"

"Amanda really has a knack for capturing natural smiles. Her love for photography shows in her work, her professionalism, and her flexibility! The pictures she got of my husband and I are some of the best pictures we have of the two of us. I would highly recommend her for anyone needing photography services."

"I'm super awkward in front of a camera but working with Amanda was awesome. It felt like just hanging out and walking around - the resulting photos were totally natural and candid shots that glowed with natural light. I highly recommend Shutter Pine!"
